Tuck was preceded in death by his father, Olan Claude Tucker and his mother, Frances Beaty Tucker. A celebration of life, to include a scattering of ashes in the Gulf of Mexico, will also occur in Pensacola, FL later this year. They are pleased to welcome friends back at the farm to continue celebrating Tuck’s life. Following the service, the family will gather privately to scatter ashes graveside at Tucker Cemetery in Eldridge. Wherever Tuck was – playing bluegrass, riding horses, hunting, cheering for Alabama, playing with grandkids, or tending to the land he loved – he brought laughs, extraordinary spirit, and stories. Committed to his deepest dream, he returned to his roots in Eldridge to build his home. In both Pensacola and Birmingham, Tuck led a career in Environmental Affairs with Southern Company. He enjoyed playing euchre, golfing, traveling and most important was time spent with family. Tuck was a member of the Eagles Lodge, the VFW, the American Legion, the Elks Club and the Moose Lodge.
